Case description
Teenager Alex Lemkin reportedly encountered an unusual childlike figure while walking through a park at Rishon LeZion around 11 p.m. in December 1996. He initially thought a little girl was lost and approached to help. At closer range, he described exceptionally pale skin and long white hair.
According to the account, the figure dissolved into numerous small points of light. Lemkin wondered whether he was hallucinating; his memory then stopped. His next remembered moment was lying on the grass. Later reporting also mentioned unexplained marks on his back, without supplying a medical record or establishing their origin.
The story circulated through Joseph Trainor's UFO Roundup in early 1997, based on information from Israeli journalist and ufologist Barry Chamish. Chamish and Derrel Sims were said to be investigating a possible abduction. The accessible source does not provide an independent witness, photograph, observed vehicle or remembered journey aboard one.
The gap in awareness is part of Lemkin's reported experience, not proof that an abduction occurred. The monthly date should remain December 1996; the catalogue's earlier-report year contains an apparent clerical inconsistency. The illustration shows only the park encounter and reported light effect, with no invented spacecraft or medical procedure.
