Case description

Shirley Wright later claimed that she accompanied Albert Einstein on a secret trip to inspect a recovered craft in July 1947. Anthony Bragalia’s 2021 presentation combines a November 1993 interview by Sheila Franklin with notes and later recollections. Wright described travelling via Chicago to a small airport, then being driven through desert country to a guarded military hangar. The southwestern location was imprecise; the inherited Nevada/Area 51 label is unsupported. She said the damaged object was disc-shaped and rather concave, reflective at a distance but dull nearby. She was kept back while others examined it and explicitly denied going inside. Descriptions of equipment and propulsion discussions therefore include information relayed by others. Bragalia’s reconstruction mentions five hairless, large-headed, gray-green figures with very dark eyes and fitted suits; the rough interview transcript instead says eight bodies and a ninth figure later involved in communication. Those numbers should not be silently reconciled. The narrative also includes a separate journey to an isolated building where she saw a distressed figure surrounded by personnel. That later medical episode is not combined with the hangar as though all events occurred in one room. Claims about origins and telepathic exchanges remain testimony, not independently demonstrated communication or authenticated technical information. Bragalia reported that an Einstein Papers Project editor said Einstein had not left Princeton that July. No contemporaneous travel record or independently authenticated report establishes the alleged visit. The account is late and disputed, even where the recording documents what Wright said. The plate is prominently labeled as an allegation and limits itself to the hangar scene, without presenting a known Roswell facility or a proven Einstein encounter.
