Case description
Betty Aho, later known as Betty Andreasson and Betty Luca, described a childhood experience she placed in Westminster, Massachusetts, in the fall of 1950, when she was thirteen. The account belongs to the childhood material in Raymond Fowler's Andreasson investigation. It was recalled decades later, including through hypnosis, rather than recorded in an immediate 1950 investigation, and is distinct from the better-known January 1967 case.
She recalled going outside to play and watching an object that resembled a moon grow larger before she became unable to move. Her next awareness was in a bright, misty room. Three small grey beings with large heads and dark eyes approached in pale coveralls. She described becoming drowsy, moving into a cold enclosure, and being suspended over a box-like surface while lights were positioned near her head and feet. Two taller figures in grey clothing then met her in another room, addressed her by name, and told her that she would be taken on a journey.
The ensuing recollection included a rounded cushion, a mouthpiece, sensations of acceleration, and passage through water into what she described as an icy tunnel. Human figures in clothing from different periods appeared within crystal-like enclosures. She then described another transport through a subterranean setting, a great door in a glass wall, and an encounter associated with a figure called The One. These are elements of her reported visionary or onboard experience, not established geography or a demonstrated flight route.
On the return portion she recalled a luminous white-robed figure, a tunnel where small beings worked on blue stones, and being asked to operate a console. Her account also included an examination and a claimed procedure involving her right eye and a small implanted device. Those statements are later recollections; this record does not establish that a device was recovered or medically verified.
Her next memory was a field near home and a reflective spherical craft standing on three supports. She described sharply bounded light beams, a doorway, and a sunburst-like emblem. A taller escort walked ahead while two smaller figures followed with luminous globes, and she understood that she was to forget the experience. The plate depicts this reported return scene. The people, landscape, and craft details are reconstructed, and the account's retrospective recovery remains essential to reading the chronology.
