Case description
The imported record dates this encounter to March 14, 1950, but the Italian ITACAT index and later investigative accounts place it at Voghenza on August 14, 1951. An unnamed 57-year-old farmer reportedly approached the cemetery around 1 p.m. and encountered a silver, Saturn-like object with an encircling ring, supports and two short stairways.
Six small figures allegedly stood beside it in shiny white suits, boots and transparent round helmets with three antennae. The account describes pale, monkey-like faces, blue eyes, prominent noses, long arms, equipment cylinders and facial tubes; one figure had a red beard. Their broad belts carried coloured lens-like fittings. They gestured and laughed, and a gun-like implement reportedly emitted a flash without a documented injury.
The figures boarded in two groups, the red-bearded individual last. Supports retracted, the upper section rotated, and the object departed amid noise and coloured exhaust. A burned area was subsequently claimed. These elaborate details entered accessible literature decades later, including a 1978 Flying Saucer Review account associated with Maurizio Verga's research. Neither the date conflict nor the retrospective publication should be concealed, and the imported military classification does not establish a military witness.
