Case description
A later humanoid-report compilation attributes this account to an unnamed labourer in Argentina’s Santiago del Estero region on 17 April 1950 at about 17:00. While working in the fields, the witness reportedly watched a large metallic disc descend slowly. Its most distinctive feature was a rotating flange around the middle, accompanied by flashing lights of several colours.
The labourer said that several tall, manlike figures were visible inside and appeared occupied with controls. Their clothing was described as close-fitting and silvery. The account does not explain the viewing aperture, count the occupants precisely or supply their facial details. After the descent, the object allegedly emitted a bright flash and accelerated upward until it disappeared. No landing, conversation, boarding or taking of the witness is described.
The cited chain runs through Roberto Banchs and Richard Heiden into Albert Rosales’s catalogue. A named witness, contemporary newspaper article and original interview file were not recovered in this review. Repeated catalogue appearances therefore do not constitute independent corroboration. The plate follows the reported flange, lights and humanlike occupants, while using a representative number of figures and an explicitly illustrative viewing area rather than claiming a known window design.
