Case description
The Liiduvere childhood account was learned by Estonian researchers in April 1977, not documented contemporaneously in 1950. Juri Lina’s original article is in Flying Saucer Review volume 24, number 1, published in June 1978. The imported reference to volume 14 is erroneous. Tunne Kelam interviewed the unnamed woman about an experience when she was six.
On a summer day near her family farm, she reportedly approached an object in a clover field. It was about six metres long, with silver ends, a black middle and a doorway, but no wings or wheels. Four short men, a little taller than her, wore bright green hooded clothing around bare reddish faces. Their movements seemed awkward, their eyes fixed; one knocked a foot against the vehicle. She recalled communication, retrospectively understood as telepathic, but not its content. Fear prompted her to flee and look back at a slow ascent.
Her grandmother and mother reportedly disbelieved her; no independent contemporary confirmation is supplied. The plate follows the published sketch and includes the girl, four figures and complete craft. Facial features, clothing construction and field layout remain illustrative. Telepathy and the cause of her fear are interpretations rather than established mechanisms.
