Souza entity encounter — 1950

The Souza report concerns a farm near the town now commonly spelled Sousa, in Paraíba, Brazil. Its date is given only as approximately 1950, with no month, day or time. Later catalogues identify the observer as Silvia or Sylvia Medeiros; Rogerson’s synopsis gives her age as thirty. The reporting chain points to the Centro Paraibano de Ufologia, but a dated original interview or contemporary newspaper account was not recovered. Medeiros reportedly saw a large disc land in a field near her farm. A hatch opened and three small, dwarf-like figures came out. For about fifteen minutes they walked around and appeared to search the area. She interpreted their actions as examining the surroundings rather than attempting to contact her. They eventually collected rocks, returned inside and departed rapidly in the disc. No conversation, pursuit or physical interaction with the witness is described. The accounts provide no reliable measurements of the craft or beings, no clothing colors, facial features or description of tools. Repetition in later databases does not supply independent corroboration of the farm episode or confirm what the collected objects were used for. The reconstruction therefore shows the observer, whole disc and three small humanlike figures together, with simple clothing and faces kept indistinct. Landscape, lighting and likeness are representative choices rather than a recovered description of the exact field or an assertion about the beings’ biology.
