Case description
A report placed in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in 1950 describes an early-morning experience of Kathleen Compardo. According to the catalogue account, she had got up to prepare breakfast for her husband and then returned to bed. After apparently awakening again, she saw two transparent figures beside her bed. They were described as approximately 90 centimetres tall. No precise day, independent witness or associated aircraft is supplied in the available account.
Compardo reportedly understood communications from the figures as telepathic, accompanied by childlike voices. They represented themselves as scientifically advanced visitors who wanted to assist humanity but regarded people as excessively aggressive. The story attributes to them claims about a cancer-curing apparatus and powerful weapons. These were statements within her experience: the account does not describe an actual treatment, a recovered instrument or an independently observed demonstration. They reportedly said their time in the atmosphere was limited and that they had to leave.
