An account assigned only to 1950 describes an unnamed farming couple near Anthony, Kansas, being awakened at approximately 2:10 a.m. by bright light outside their window. They reportedly went into the yard and saw a large glowing triangular object hovering above their barn. A smaller object separated from it and was said to descend behind the building. No exact date, farm address or identifying names are provided in the accessible summary. The husband approached the barn to investigate while his wife remained behind. Her reported experience then diverged from his: a human-shaped figure made entirely of light appeared roughly ten feet from her. She said she could neither move nor speak.
