Case description
The Forster account is usually placed in Peekskill, New York, in February 1954, although some chronologies assign January 29. The imported spelling Peakskill is incorrect. In the fuller Saucerian-derived version, Mr. and Mrs. Forster were returning along a dirt road after inspecting property they had acquired. A light between trees drew their attention, and they came upon a metallic object on or just above the road.
A woman stood beside it, wearing a bulky hooded outfit and thick glasses or goggles. Compressed summaries call the clothing luminous; the longer version describes a dark inflated suit and strikingly luminous eyes visible through the goggles. She reportedly held a tube connected to the object and a box. The fuller account adds pipes running to a brass-coloured upper structure, with glasslike rods visible through an opening. Those descriptions do not establish a precise overall craft shape.
The couple said they fled, and the story attributes severe shock and hospital treatment to Mrs. Forster. The available material does not supply independent medical documentation verifying that claim or establishing its cause. Later trace descriptions likewise lack a recovered material identification here. The account's publication through UFO literature is distinct from independent corroboration. The plate keeps the reported woman humanlike, retains the hood, goggles, tube and box, and marks its craft configuration and wooded setting as contextual.
