Mamora Forest, Morocco

Case description
A brief contemporary press report describes an unnamed engineer from Meknès driving toward Port-Lyautey through the Mamora Forest in October 1954. A small man in a shining outfit allegedly stopped him on the road. The figure was estimated at about 1.2 metres tall. Neither a facial description nor a definite nonhuman anatomical feature is supplied by the short account.
The man reportedly moved to the right-hand side of the road and entered an object, which immediately rose and disappeared rapidly. The surviving text does not establish the object’s shape, dimensions, propulsion or interior. The shining clothing should therefore remain the distinctive reported detail; a familiar domed saucer and a detailed Grey occupant would add features that the engineer’s preserved account does not provide.
The date is unresolved. Later catalogues use 12 October, while L’Est Républicain’s 16 October report says Thursday afternoon, corresponding to 14 October. Other retellings place it on the 11th. No named witness, original interview or documented examination of traces was recovered here. The plate retains the competing days and shows the engineer, small clothed figure and an intentionally unresolved roadside object rather than silently choosing a craft design.
