Case description
The Caselle di Nogara entry describes an unnamed waiter and amateur hunter near his home in the Verona area during a December 1954 night. Vallée's catalogue and HUMCAT assign the event to 4 December, while an Italian catalogue index uses 3 December. The recovered material does not supply an independently identifiable witness or a precise observation time, so the dating disagreement remains visible.
For several minutes the waiter supposedly watched a circular blue object in a pasture about 50 metres away. Red light shone through regularly arranged openings, and a very tall figure emerged from a turret. According to the catalogue account, the witness obtained a rifle and fired twice. He then experienced a strong gust or blast of wind as the object departed amid a reddish glow. No injury, recovered projectile or independently inspected vehicle accompanies the summary.
The source trail here consists chiefly of retrospective catalogue entries, rather than a recovered signed interview or authenticated physical evidence. The figure's face, clothing and anatomy are not resolved by the phrase describing its unusual height. The plate therefore illustrates the moment before the alleged shots, with the weapon lowered, a minimally specified tall humanlike figure and the blue object; its detailed engineering and portraits are artistic choices.
