Case description
A story repeated by Harold Wilkins and Jacques Vallée places a spectacular landing in a Monza stadium on November 8,1954, around 10:30 a.m. It claims approximately 150 people gathered, breaking or crossing barriers to approach a luminous object. The craft supposedly stood on three legs beneath a brilliantly lit dome carrying an antenna. No named principal witness or independently documented stadium crowd was recovered for this entry.
Two small figures were said to wear white and grey clothing with transparent helmets. Their speech was described as guttural, and one supposedly had a dark face with a trunk-like or hose-like feature. A man allegedly set his boxer dog on them, only for the animal to turn and bite him. The object then rose rapidly with a shrill sound. The plate illustrates the earlier, nonviolent moment and identifies the narrative as disputed.
The NICAP chronology explicitly flags probable fabrication according to Italian researchers contributing to the Project 1947 list. The important limitation is that the claimed 150 observers are part of the repeated story, not 150 collected statements. The exact venue, witnesses and physical evidence remain unestablished here. Its catalogue history should therefore be preserved alongside the fabrication warning, without presenting the elaborate stadium scene as a corroborated mass encounter.
