Lugrin entity encounter — 1954

On August 23, 1954, an encounter was reported at Lugrin, a French community overlooking Lake Geneva near the Alpine foothills. The surviving Atlas catalogue material identifies this as a close encounter involving an entity, but the accessible summary does not preserve a complete first-person statement. The account places a witness in the rural landscape near Lugrin and describes an anomalous humanoid presence seen at relatively close range. Later catalogue entries also associate an unusual object with the event, but the surviving versions do not agree closely enough on its shape, the figure's anatomy or the exact sequence to support a detailed reconstruction. The central claim is therefore modest: a person reported seeing an apparently nonordinary figure in the Lugrin area during the 1954 French wave. No authenticated photograph, physical specimen or instrument record is attached to the Atlas entry. The duration, departure and immediate reporting history remain uncertain in the material presently available. The incident is retained as CE3 because an entity is the defining reported feature. The portrait preserves the documented place and period while rendering the figure only as a distant silhouette.
