Case description
The Quebec seed is unusually sparse: two boys allegedly watched an object land and two or three men emerge sometime in 1954. It gives no names, precise locality, time, craft dimensions, clothing, physical traces or departure sequence. Its year-only date does not establish an event on January 1, and the surviving sentence cannot support a detailed encounter reconstruction.
A possible relationship to the Gabriel and Henri Coupal reports near Hemmingford or Saint-Bernard-de-Lacolle remains unresolved. Those accounts have a much fuller source trail and competing August dates, including distinctions between a sighting and an interview. Similarity in the number of boys is not enough to merge the records or transfer the Coupal family, horse, spherical craft, weapon-like object and later witnesses into this anonymous province-wide entry.
The plate deliberately uses representative boys, two indistinct humanlike men and a minimally specified complete object, with a label retaining the source’s two-or-three count. Setting, illumination, vehicle outline, clothing and appearance are illustrative. No specific alien anatomy is recoverable, and a third figure is not asserted as certain. The record remains useful as a transparent catalogue placeholder, with its identity and original reference requiring further resolution.
