Curitiba railway occupant report — November 13 or 14, 1954

At about 3:30 a.m. on November 13 or 14, 1954, an unnamed Brazilian railway employee reportedly saw an oval or lens-shaped object resting on railway tracks. Jimmy Guieu's version places the scene between Congonhas and Urai stations and says the employee reported it to authorities in Curitiba. The precise railway location has not been established from a recovered local record. Three figures in close-fitting, apparently luminous clothing were said to be examining the rails or ballast with a lantern. When they noticed the observer, they returned to the object, which departed rapidly. Some later accounts describe them as small or dwarf-like; Coral Lorenzen's cited account supplies no height. None of these versions provides a detailed facial description that would justify substituting a familiar modern alien type. Repetition in later books therefore does not constitute several independent witnesses. The event remains an attributed railway-occupant story with an unnamed observer, uncertain site and unresolved date, rather than a verified incident involving identified railway staff.
