Ciolica Alta landing encounter — 1954

Italy, Ciolica Alta: A young man named Fabrizio Bruni heard a strange hissing sound and saw an object in a field. It was stationary, 1 m above the ground, seemed transparent and emitted a blinding glare. The witness fell on the ground "because of his strong emotions" at the sight. The object took off vertically and suddenly, leaving a trail. Very white, glistening threads were found on the ground.
