Monelmore — Thomas Hutchinson object-handling account

Thomas J. Hutchinson swore to police today that he captured a flaming red flyhing saucer but it got away. He had difficulty holding it down , he said. He was sitting at home with his wife, Maud, around noon on Friday when an object dropped from low hanging clouds to the only dry piece of land in the middle of the bog, 200 yards from his front door. He and his wife sloshed across the bog and found the object lying motionless. It was egg-shaped, 3 feet high and 16 inches in diameter. Hutchinson said that it was bright red with dark red marks at the end and three dark red stripes. It had a saucer-shaped base. STARTED TO SPIN Hutchinson said that he kicked it over but it returned to it’s original position. When Hutchinson got down on his hands and knees to take a closer look at the strange object, it began to spin. He then put a hammerlock on the mysterious object. Hutchinson then remarked that the police station was the only place for such a wicked thing as this, and started to carry it that way. On the way to the village of Loup, Hutchinson had to make his way through a thick hedge and set the object down for a moment and it started spinning again. Before Hutchinson had a change to grab the strange glowing red object again, it rose into the rain-laded clouds and disappeared from view. The police in Loup called the RAF station near Aldergrove. The commander of the base said that the object did not belong to the RAF and would not even hazard a guess of what it really was. Source comparison: The stored narrative concerns Thomas Hutchinson and his wife Maud, a red egg-shaped object, his alleged handling and carrying of it, and its departure. Neither describes an occupant. CE2 records claimed physical interaction; the imported CE3 is unsupported. Police and RAF references are unverified within this imported clipping.
