Case description
A Brazilian railway employee reportedly encountered an oval object and three figures on the line between Congonhas and Uraí in Paraná during November 1954. The Atlas gives November 13 at 3:30 a.m.; Coral Lorenzen and several later accounts give November 14. Many catalogues label the case Curitiba, apparently following the place where authorities were said to have received the report rather than the more specific railway location.
The employee described three figures in close-fitting, apparently luminous clothing examining the ballast or track with a handheld light. Some authors called them very small; other versions did not supply their height. When they noticed the observer, they returned to the oval or lens-shaped object, which rose rapidly and departed. No conversation, physical contact, collection of a specimen or pursuit is described in the fuller sequence.
Jimmy Guieu, Lorenzen, Vallée and Gordon Creighton repeated versions of the account. Its original newspaper item or official statement was not identified in the material retrieved, and no witness name or investigation report was verified. That missing documentary link limits conclusions about distance, occupant anatomy and the object's dimensions. The illustration uses a November-only title with the day disagreement stated, retains the railway setting and lantern, and keeps the figures indistinct instead of converting the catalogue’s small-humanoid label into a specific alien appearance.
