Caselle Di Nogara, ITL being encounter — December 4, 1954

A waiter at Caselle di Nogara reportedly watched a blue circular object standing motionless in a pasture on the night of 4 December 1954. The catalogue account places it about fifty metres away and says he observed it for several minutes. Openings arranged symmetrically around the object emitted a bright red light, giving him more than an isolated point of light to describe. A very tall figure then emerged from a turret on the object. The waiter obtained a rifle and fired twice. According to the report, a strong wind followed and the craft departed, leaving a reddish glow. The account does not establish what the figure did in response, where the shots went, or whether anything was struck. It also gives no reliable facial description, clothing specification or measured height for the supposed occupant. The incident appears as entry 348 in Jacques Vallée’s Magonia catalogue and in the CUFOS HUMCAT material. These are summaries of a reported event, not physical confirmation of an extraordinary vehicle. The Atlas’s brief reference to a giant exiting a saucer should therefore be read alongside the fuller turret-and-red-openings description. The reconstruction shows the observing phase before the reported gunfire; its indistinct tall occupant preserves the source’s limited description instead of supplying an invented alien anatomy.
