Predale, Casina, ITL being encounter — December 11, 1954

The Predale entry describes a morning observation near Casina, Italy, on December 11, 1954. The witness is identified in later catalogues only as Miss Frassinetti, a young girl. She reportedly noticed a luminous object hovering above a nearby field. Its unusual feature was its upright orientation: it was compared to a barrel standing vertically in the air, rather than a conventional horizontally flying disc. Through a window, she said she saw a man watching her. The brief account does not describe him leaving the object, speaking, approaching the witness or making physical contact.
