Case description
In June 1955, at about one in the morning, a sailor at Muros in northwestern Spain reportedly encountered an extraordinary figure on the deck of his boat. The available catalogue account describes a short, gorilla-like body with a disproportionately large chest and arms and relatively small legs. A hood and a covering resembling plastic concealed much of its appearance. No detailed face, named vessel or precise day is established in this account.
The sailor said the figure carried an unidentified object. A blue-green light was associated with a period during which he found himself unable to move. The figure subsequently departed. The account does not describe a conversation, an examination, transport away from the boat, or the sighting of an aerial vehicle; adding a saucer would supply an event absent from the reported sequence.
The case entered later humanoid catalogues through Vicente-Juan Ballester Olmos’s Spanish landing-case work. The accessible version is a retrospective summary rather than a recovered interview or contemporary ship’s log. Its distinctive body proportions, hooded covering, light and reported immobility are retained as claims, while the cause and duration of the paralysis remain unverified.
