Case description
Truck driver Remo dall’Armellina reportedly encountered an extraordinary figure on a road at Boa del Tigre while travelling toward Santa Fe late on 27 May 1958. A being estimated at three metres tall stood in his way. The account describes very long arms, a scaly appearance, a flight-coverall-like outfit and a phosphorescent glow. These features belong to the witness’s reported impression; the surviving summary offers little anatomical detail beyond them.
Dall’Armellina stopped and approached carrying an iron bar. He said an overpowering smell and the figure’s luminosity prevented him from getting close. He then lost consciousness. When he recovered, the figure had disappeared. The preserved sequence does not describe a conversation, entry into a vehicle, pursuit or observation of the being’s departure.
Vallée’s Magonia catalogue lists the episode and points to earlier literature associated with Perego and Bulgarini. That chain is a historical reference, rather than an accessible contemporaneous medical examination or independently verified roadside investigation. In particular, no spacecraft is described. Its placement in an entity-encounter collection does not justify adding a landed saucer, assuming the being came from one or labelling the lapse of consciousness an established abduction. The illustration consequently keeps the driver, truck and reported giant on the road without an invented craft.
