Lake Geneva boat witnesses see spinning saucer hover overhead — August 16 1958

At about 5:00 p.m. on August 16, 1958, twelve people boating on Lake Geneva in clear weather saw a bright light descending. They stopped the boat as the object came to hover approximately fifteen meters above them. It was described as a saucer about ten meters in diameter, with a cabin and several windows on top and an outer disc below the cabin that was spinning. As it descended toward the water, it produced a noticeable current or disturbance. No sound or occupants were reported. The craft then made several sudden leaps in the air and flew away at what the witnesses described as unbelievable speed.
