Antarctic expedition members encounter low silvery disc — October 11 1958

On October 11, 1958, Soviet glaciologist Dr. Yuri I. Danikov and three other men in Antarctica were repeatedly approached or followed by a low-flying silvery disc. The surviving chronology characterizes the group as being pestered by the object but does not preserve the precise location, duration, altitude, sequence of passes, distance, or manner of departure.
