An anonymous motorcyclist reportedly encountered a large object near Pajas Blancas airport, Córdoba, on the morning of May 1,1957. Roberto Banchs's source history traces the story to the newspaper Impulso. The man said he was heading toward Río Ceballos when a hissing sound accompanied a gradual loss of engine power. He stopped and hid in a roadside ditch after seeing a metallic disc overhead.
A humanlike occupant descended in a translucent lift and approached. Through gestures and reassurance, the figure persuaded the rider to accompany him inside. The account describes five or six other men at panels with switches and screens. After returning outside, the visitor indicated that the motorcycle would not run while the craft remained. It departed rapidly northwest, and the engine then started normally.
The source describes the occupant as athletic, approximately 1.75 metres tall, in close-fitting clothing resembling plastic rather than fabric. It does not identify a conventional grey alien. Banchs questions the anonymous, highly embellished publication and its claim that this elaborate sequence took only about 15 seconds. A separate 1964 story near the airport must not be counted as additional witnesses to 1957. The inherited six-observer wording likewise does not establish six named independent witnesses to the full encounter.
