Case description
This sparsely documented Italian encounter is attributed to an unnamed parish priest at San Michele Extra, Verona, during October 1957, around 8 p.m. The Centro Ufologico Nazionale's Veneto catalogue places it in mid-October and describes a bronze-colored, cigar-shaped object with three windows. A human-looking blond figure in a metallic suit was reportedly visible bent forward inside.
The Hatch/ITACAT version instead summarizes a cylinder about ten metres long passing overhead at approximately twenty metres altitude, with humanlike occupants visible through portholes. The Veneto summary calls the object landed. These are material differences in posture and height, not details that can be silently combined into a continuous flight-and-landing sequence. No personal name, approved drawing, close facial description or exact day is provided in the accessible entries.
The ledger also flags a possible telepathic element, but offers no securely sourced message text. The Atlas preserves that uncertainty without inventing a conversation or abduction. Its plate follows the more distinctive bronze-cigar, three-window and blond-figure version, with the witness present and a label identifying the landed/overhead disagreement. The clothing and hull construction remain interpretations of brief catalogue language; the witness's clerical role is part of the report rather than independent validation.
