West / Bolivar, Arg abduction report — August 8, 1958

At about 1:30 a.m. on August 8, 1958, a motorist west of Bolívar in Buenos Aires province, Argentina, reported an interruption during a night journey. The car developed problems while a domed, saucer-shaped object was visible roughly 300 metres away. The object subsequently moved rapidly toward the south. The motorist’s account also included a period of missing time, placing an interruption of remembered experience alongside the mechanical trouble and the departure. No occupant, conversation or view inside the object is described in the preserved digest. The available sequence therefore begins with the car malfunction and nearby domed object and ends with the object leaving southward and the driver recognizing a gap in time. The amount of time missing and what occurred during that interval are not supplied. The case was retained in the Larry Hatch compilation, whose reference trail points to historical UFO literature and Loren Gross’s 1958 chronology.
