The expanded Aubagne account concerns Mrs. Moulet and her three children rather than a line of shoppers. According to a report communicated by M. Cohin of SVEPS and printed in Lumières Dans La Nuit 125 in 1973, the forty-five-year-old mother was hanging laundry on a terrace one Thursday near the end of October 1959. Her six-year-old twins and nine-year-old daughter gathered close when an object descended overhead.
It was described as horizontally ovoid, with a polished-steel rear, a powerful forward light and a broad window above a platform. Through the opening she reportedly saw about twenty tall, attractive, humanlike occupants. They had very light complexions and wavy fair hair, and wore white, short-sleeved outfits with upright collars. Their expressions suggested smiling or laughter; no clear spoken exchange was reported.
The witness said her hands and the laundry became intensely cold. After roughly ten to fifteen minutes, a slight vibration preceded the object's rapid departure, leaving a faint trail. The account was published fourteen years after the claimed event and supplies no photograph or physical measurement. Its detailed humanlike occupants should not be replaced by generic grey aliens, and the reported cold remains an unmeasured witness observation.
Retrospective 1973 publication about 1959 event. No photographs/measurements; smiling or laughter and cold sensation do not establish extraterrestrial tourists or spoken exchange.
