Paracuru Beach, Brz being encounter — May 14, 1960

At about 4 a.m. on May 14, 1960, a farmer identified in different accounts as Raimundo Sulino or Raimundo dos Santos reportedly approached two objects near Paracuru, Ceará. Some versions place them on the beach, others on a hill near the Capim Açu farm. Later summaries call them metallic discs, but their detailed construction and dimensions were not securely recorded. Small, pale, humanlike figures stood nearby. Importantly, fuller accounts describe blue uniforms and white helmets, details often omitted from abbreviated catalogues. They made gestures interpreted as friendly or beckoning, but the farmer became frightened and left. He reportedly returned with other men and found marks in the sand. No witnessed departure or detailed measurement of those traces is established in the consulted material. The source chain leads to Olavo Fontes’s APRO reporting on Brazilian sightings in 1960. A separate object seen over Paracuru the previous evening was described by numerous witnesses and estimated at about twenty metres; that size and witness count must not be transferred to this early-morning ground encounter. Possible confusion with ordinary vehicles has been suggested, but not demonstrated by a documented aircraft identification. The illustration preserves the pale humanlike appearance, blue clothing and white helmets without supplying speculative alien facial anatomy.
