Rivoli, ITL being encounter — April 9, 1962

The Rivoli account concerns an engaged couple in a parked car near Pozzetto on the hills outside Turin. The imported catalogue gives April 9, 1962, at approximately 11 p.m. Peter Kolosimo's fuller narrative instead dates the sighting April 2 and assigns April 9 to a later fire reported at the location. These dates should remain distinguished rather than treating the fire as an observed effect during the encounter. The couple allegedly saw a dark, circular object about fifteen metres across descend into a meadow. Pale green light flashed regularly before stopping when the object touched down. An opening appeared and two figures emerged, moving together for several minutes as if conversing. In Kolosimo's version, one pointed toward nearby trees and the other entered the grove and vanished from view. Only the remaining figure reboarded; the door closed, the green flashing resumed and the object rose before accelerating away. This differs from the compressed version in which both figures returned aboard. The couple reportedly submitted a sworn account, but the recovered narrative supplies neither their names nor detailed entity anatomy. CUN's regional chronology marks the case as unreliable, and no recovered physical investigation establishes a connection with the later fire despite rain.
