Case description
Around November 1963, a man identified as Sesplugues or Susplugues, manager of Andorra’s Mirador Hotel, and his wife were driving between Comarruga and Torredembarra in Catalonia. They reportedly saw a dark figure crossing the straight road approximately 150 metres ahead. Ballester Olmos’s catalogue dates the episode only approximately, while Antonio Ribera’s earlier discussion places it at night in the car’s headlights.
The striking feature was a black, man-sized silhouette that seemed to have no head. The short account does not describe a small Grey, visible facial features, an associated craft, a conversation or contact. A headless-looking silhouette reports an impression under the viewing conditions; it does not establish an anatomically headless organism. The compact database’s noon time is inconsistent with the fuller night-time account.
Ballester lists the episode as case 36 and cites Ribera’s Los Humanoides. Its position beside comparisons with other unusual figures is not independent evidence that the same phenomenon caused them. No precise day, speed, duration, photograph or physical trace is supplied in the consulted summary. The reconstruction follows the couple’s distant road observation and leaves the creature’s unresolved appearance dark, without adding a vehicle or a later encounter.
