Pajas Blancas, Arg being encounter — June 5, 1964

HUMCAT’s 1964 index records a June 5 encounter near Pajas Blancas, Córdoba, attributed to a forty-two-year-old doctor and his wife. Driving thirty kilometers from the airport, they reportedly stopped because of a dazzling light ahead. HUMCAT gives four in the morning; the imported Atlas record gives seven in the evening. As the glare diminished, they described a nearby object emitting violet light. Their car would not restart. Approximately twenty minutes later, an ordinary-looking man approached and spoke Spanish, asking what was wrong. At his suggestion the doctor tried again, and the engine started. The visitor reportedly reassured them that he was terrestrial and referred to a mission of communicating with humanity in his own manner. He returned toward two other grey-clad men. All three entered the object, which departed leaving a violet trail. The account centers on a roadside conversation and temporary engine failure. It describes no taking, unusual anatomy or medical examination. HUMCAT cites Flying Saucer Review XII/2, page 26, but its condensed entry leaves the couple unnamed and offers no independent mechanical examination explaining why the car stopped or recovered. The discrepancy in time remains unresolved.
