Portogruaro, ITL being encounter — August 1964

The Hatch record, citing ITACAT entry 56, places this report at Portogruaro in August 1964, around 3 p.m. Its witness was a ten-year-old boy who reportedly saw an object with a transparent dome at an estimated altitude of twelve metres. Through the dome he could distinguish a figure and instruments. The transparency and visible interior are the central features of the short account, rather than a landing or a figure walking outside. The summary adds a question about telepathy, without preserving the words of any message, how the boy experienced it or whether the suggestion came from the witness or a later interpretation. It gives no name, precise day, observation duration, departure sequence or reliable description of the figure’s face and clothing. Those omissions prevent a detailed communication narrative or a specific portrayal of the occupant’s anatomy. A separate CUN chronology lists an August 1964 Portogruaro story involving a woman taken inside an object and a small, gaunt being. The available material does not establish that it is the same episode as the boy’s ITACAT record. The two accounts are therefore kept distinct; the woman’s alleged boarding and the being’s appearance are not imported into this entry. In the boy’s surviving summary, physical removal is not described.
