Case description
Milk-delivery driver Ramón Eduardo Pereyra reported an encounter at Monte de los Curas, Quilmes, on 20 July 1965. Paco Martínez's later first-person interview places it at 08:30 on an overcast, rainy morning; the catalogue gives approximately 08:00. Pereyra described a luminous, parachute-like descent, parked his Estanciera and walked about 600 metres across a stream and beneath a railway bridge. He found a small egg-shaped object with a metallic lower half and transparent upper section. Lorenzen's account describes chrome coloring and metal landing legs.
A hooded man sat inside at instruments. Outside, a blond man wore a close-fitting protective outfit with its hood down, binoculars hanging on his chest, a paper in his right hand and a case attached to one leg. Pereyra insisted both looked like ordinary human men. The blond man approached quickly, gave an irritated gesture and ignored his attempted greeting. In the interview he then lifted the upper covering and entered. The craft rose to treetop height, approximately twenty metres, made a welding-torch-like noise and accelerated away; Lorenzen's version estimates the initial climb at one hundred feet.
Pereyra said he abandoned his delivery round and told a local policeman. He recalled no burned ground and only heard that police later investigated with instruments; independent police findings were not recovered. Green and yellow instrument lights, rather than an exterior beam, feature in the interview. He remained puzzled but explicitly resisted calling the men extraterrestrials or the object a flying saucer.
