Case description
A July 1965 report from Coteaux, near Trois-Rivières, concerns a ten-year-old boy identified as André. The fuller catalogue gives July 27 at about 4:30 p.m., while the Atlas retains only the month. He reportedly saw an object made up of two upright cylinders, each roughly 1.5 metres tall, joined by crossbars, giving it the appearance of vertical binoculars.
The object was described as moving low in a zigzag pattern and disappearing behind a cliff. André reportedly approached briefly and thought it appeared and disappeared repeatedly. A later part of the story places a roughly 1.5-metre being inside his home, with long limbs, a flat oval face and rough red skin resembling hard plastic. Frightened by its apparent attitude, he fled. The Atlas’s compressed description places a figure outside; that differs from the fuller sequence.
The reporting chain cites John Musgrave’s UFO Occupants and Critters and Henri Bordeleau’s earlier book, without an accessible original investigation file. A separate 1969 reservoir encounter at Trois-Rivières should not supply details for this case. The plate uses two clearly labelled phases rather than putting the later indoor figure beside the cylinder object as though observed together. Unrecorded facial and clothing details remain concealed.
