Case description
An anonymous Monaca motorist said that in October 1965, around 9 p.m., he stopped beside a hayfield after noticing a dull-silver object. Stan Gordon published the account in Skylook in November 1974 after investigator Bob Boyed located the witnesses, leaving a nine-year interval between the alleged sighting and the recovered report.
The man described an inverted-bowl shape about forty-five feet across, three softly illuminated portholes, and unresolved dark movements in one opening. Eight to ten transparent-looking light beams extended towards the ground. He fetched his wife; on their return the object was still there. It reportedly rose with a rushing-air sound as the beams shortened. No definite occupant’s face or body was identified.
The following day he allegedly found a perforated metal disc at the location. Reported analysis identified ordinary terrestrial stainless-steel-type material, with wear potentially associated with industrial cavitation. The witness did not claim to see it fall from the object. Its recovery therefore does not establish a connection. The illustration shows the couple, their car, the described craft and ambiguous window shadows, without manufacturing visible aliens.
