Case description
Manuel Hernández reportedly saw an unusual landing near Córdoba, Spain, around May 16,1966. Ballester Olmos’s Spanish catalogue marks the date approximate and cites Paris-Jour of May 18 together with Vallée’s Magonia listing. The short account identifies Hernández as returning from the fields, but does not securely establish the noon time assigned in the imported entry.
He said a disc-shaped object came down about one hundred metres away. Small beings compared to green birds reportedly appeared briefly before the object rose and departed. This comparison is the central surviving description, rather than a detailed anatomical report. It supplies no secure eyes, fingers, clothing or conversation, and does not describe the witness boarding the object.
Later retellings add three winged, helmeted forms, a closer approach and an early-morning time. Those additions should remain attributed variants until the underlying newspaper or investigation can be checked. No retrieved physical evidence identifies the object or beings. The plate shows a representative rural witness, disc and a few small unresolved greenish bird-like forms, explicitly treating their shape and number as illustrative rather than establishing a species or substituting conventional grey aliens.
