An Ohio woman, called Mrs Everett X or by the pseudonym Steward, told Leonard Stringfield of a sighting on October 2, 1966. She described a foul smell while on the telephone, then an oval object with portholes and coloured lights outside her home. Her husband and family members reportedly observed parts of the outdoor sequence, including a separate luminous object.
The extraordinary bedroom episode was disclosed to Stringfield in 1975, nine years later. She said a brilliant flash was followed by a small glowing sphere at the foot of her bed. It contained five similar hairless heads with deeply set almond-shaped eyes, nose slits and no mouths, necks or bodies. She perceived a repeated message of contact. Family members came after her cry, when the sphere had allegedly disappeared.
The different levels of corroboration matter: other people’s outdoor observations do not independently confirm the five-head apparition. Stringfield published the account in Situation Red. The illustration is a labelled composite of separate phases, showing the couple’s outdoor view and the woman’s later solitary experience without adding full-bodied beings or presenting the two scenes as simultaneous.
This segment covers the odor and outdoor UFO observations. The separate five-head bedroom account was disclosed to Stringfield nine years later and is not covered or independently corroborated here. This segment covers the outdoor sighting/odor phase only. The five-head bedroom sphere was disclosed nineyears later and is not narrated here; other witnesses to outdoor lights do not corroborate that solitary episode.
