Case description
David Morris, a twenty-year-old worker, reported an encounter while driving home from Kent toward Munroe Falls, Ohio, early on March 28, 1967. Through fog he noticed an orange-red glow in a field and described an object shaped more like a tall cone than the saucer shorthand used in some catalogues.
Morris said that four or five small, large-headed figures moved across the road ahead. He braked but believed that his car struck one of them. Frightened by what he saw after stopping, he drove away. He subsequently reported new dents at the front of his car. Those observations are the witness's account; the collision does not independently establish what was struck.
The story reached a local newspaper after Morris discussed it with coworkers and was also covered in the March–April 1967 APRO Bulletin. A surviving interview lets visitors hear Morris recount the case himself. The plate shows the approach before the alleged collision, without depicting an injury. Exact road geometry, vehicle details, and the figures' appearance are reconstructed.
