Los Padres Forest, CA abduction report — April 5, 1967

A camper in California's Los Padres National Forest reported an experience catalogued under April 5, 1967. A fuller synopsis places it more generally in March 1967. He was camping with three friends when he awoke away from his sleeping bag and their campsite. Looking up, he saw a bright object displaying orange and blue lights. He woke one companion, and the two reportedly watched the light accelerate away. Later, during hypnosis, he described being transported into an object by several humanoid figures. The recollection included a chamber beneath a glass-like canopy, an examination and the collection of bodily samples.
