Galion, Ohio abduction report — May 12, 1967

On May 12, 1967, a newspaper delivery boy in Galion, Ohio, reported a saucer-shaped object very close overhead. He estimated its height at about twenty-five feet. A beam from the object reportedly formed a circle of light around him. He described being unable to move and later realizing that part of the time was missing from his recollection. The remembered sequence concerns the close object, its light and the boy's immobility. An abduction was suggested afterward, but no remembered occupants, examination or interior are described in the available account.
