Boardman, OH being encounter — July 18, 1967

The Reverend Anthony De Polo reported hearing a loud whining sound while in bed at Boardman, Ohio, at about 1:30 a.m. on July 18, 1967. The pitch rose and fell. He then experienced what he interpreted as a mental instruction to look through the window, where he saw a figure approximately five feet tall. Its close-fitting garment appeared luminous, with an additional source of light above it. De Polo went onto the porch and believed he received reassurance that he need not be afraid.
