Case description
A fuller HUMCAT entry identifies the woman in the Caracas digest as Paula Valdez, an aspiring actress. On 3 September 1967 she reportedly came home early from work with a headache and lay down in her room. HUMCAT places the episode in the afternoon, whereas the imported Hatch digest gives approximately 21:00 and says she woke. The difference matters because the surviving summaries do not establish whether she had actually been asleep.
According to the fuller synopsis, a whistling sound made her aware of someone nearby. A small man was leaning toward her beside the bed. He was described as having a large head and prominent eyes, but the recovered passage does not specify skin color, clothing, fingers or other anatomical details. He addressed her in Spanish, inviting her to accompany his group and learn about other worlds. Valdez began screaming, and the figure allegedly escaped through the window. Her family arrived after it had gone.
The HUMCAT card attributes investigation to Horacio Gonzales Ganteaume for APRO and cites the Lorenzens' UFOs over the Americas and Encounters with UFO Occupants. That reporting chain supplies more context than the compressed ledger but is not independent corroboration of the bedroom figure. No completed journey, accepted invitation or intentional contact practice is described, and no craft is specified in this recovered account. The plate keeps the small, large-headed figure and fully clothed witness while avoiding invented vehicle details or a generic Gray anatomy.
