Case description
An unnamed Brazilian highway patrolman reported an encounter near Americana, São Paulo, during November 1967. He described an immense metallic object, bright lights, and a loud humming sound. His car would not start, and the vehicle and nearby booth lights reportedly failed until the object departed.
The fuller account separates this initial observation from a return about two nights later. In that second episode, the officer said that a platform descended and two men in close-fitting clothing became visible. He described communication telling him to put away his weapon and not be afraid, together with difficulty moving.
Condensed catalogues sometimes combine the two phases under November 28. The plate uses November 1967 and illustrates the separately reported return, showing the patrolman, the platform's two humanlike occupants, and the larger object together. The large size, electrical effects, and communication remain witness claims; a stalled car does not itself demonstrate the mechanism responsible. The source trail includes APRO's report of two Brazilian encounters in 1967.
