Angelholm entity encounter — May 1946

Gösta Carlsson said that on a May evening in 1946 he encountered a landed object in a forest clearing near Ängelholm, Sweden. Later accounts date the experience to May 18. He described a domed disc with windows and a group of uniformed humanlike figures wearing transparent helmets, apparently occupied with work around the craft. Carlsson reported watching the object rise in a red glow and later finding marks and small objects at the site. His subsequent public account connected the encounter with ideas for his pollen-related business. In 1972 he commissioned a concrete memorial in the clearing, turning the location into a lasting public landmark. UFO-Sweden investigator Clas Svahn has compared Carlsson's versions and the site's history and identifies inconsistencies rather than accepting the story at face value. The record therefore distinguishes Carlsson's testimony, later claimed objects, and the modern monument.
