Case description

Eleven-year-old Graciela del Lourdes Gimenez reportedly experienced an unexplained displacement in Córdoba, Argentina, on August 4, 1968. At about 3:30 p.m., she said, a white mist approached her near her parents' doorway. She became unable to see nearby houses or call to her mother. Her next recollection was of being elsewhere in the city. Thomas Bullard's comparative catalogue says that she wandered until approximately 6:30 p.m., when other people helped take her to a police station. Later retellings identify the central location as Plaza España and describe subsequent chills and distress. Those details are reported consequences, not a documented explanation for the journey. The source trail includes Flying Saucer Review and APRO material. No spacecraft or occupants are described in the available account, and the suggestion of telepathy in the Hatch shorthand remains a question. The illustration therefore concentrates on the approaching mist and the child's reported interruption of awareness rather than inventing an onboard scene.
