Mendoza, Arg abduction report — September 1, 1968

Juan Carlos Peccinetti and Fernando José Villegas reported an encounter while returning from work at the Mendoza casino during the early hours of August 31, 1968. Near the intersection of Neuquén and Jorge Newbery streets, their car stopped. The men said a large disc was hovering nearby and that small, humanlike figures approached the vehicle. They described unusually large heads and communication in which images were presented to them. They described electrical trouble involving both the engine and lights and three figures approaching the car. Their account subsequently entered provincial police records, newspaper reporting and UFO investigations. Reports also discuss marks attributed to the encounter on the car. Their descriptions centered on the stopped car, the approaching figures and the communication beside it.
