Cor.macedo, Brz being encounter — November 21, 1968

A woman traveling by bus reportedly witnessed a close encounter at Macedo, São Paulo, around 9:30 p.m. on November 21, 1968. In the fuller account attributed to Dr. Walter Bühler, her bus stopped while a small metallic domed object hovered a few feet above the ground about forty yards away. Changing lights around its rim gave an impression of rotation, and violet illumination fell beneath it. A doorway with three steps was reportedly open. Three humanlike figures stood outside wearing shiny black, close-fitting, hooded suits and boots, with their faces exposed. One held a cylindrical implement with a thinner tube wound around it. A crowd of roughly twenty people, including three police officers, faced them, with two police cars nearby. The account continues with a silver beam, people becoming unable to act or feeling faint, and the figures returning to the rapidly departing object. The compact Hatch abstract instead specifies two taller figures.
