Case description
At sunset on 25 November 1968, Alejandro González Reyes,34, reportedly left his house near Curicó to look for his wife. He saw a metallic object about 230 feet away, initially at an estimated 150 feet altitude. It descended diagonally to the ground or just above it. The object was described as two dishes joined together, about six feet across and five feet high, with a Y-shaped antenna and four supports approximately three feet long.
Three proportionately human-looking figures, each about two and a half feet tall, reportedly came through a doorway. One carried an unlit flashlight, another scratched the ground with a hand, and the third held an unidentified instrument. When a truck approached, they hurried back. The last figure appeared to have difficulty entering. The object rocked from side to side in a falling-leaf motion, then departed rapidly. The observation reportedly lasted two or three minutes and left no traces.
HUMCAT credits investigator Elena Marino and Lumières dans la Nuit 117, rather than establishing a contemporary 1968 investigation. The imported summary’s fourth figure inside is not corroborated in the expanded account checked here, so the illustration retains three. Their human proportions and distinct activities are represented, while faces, clothing and instrument design remain interpretive. The image compresses the reported observation distance.
